Skye, May 2024

Three rolls over three or four days on Skye.

The first was Kodak Gold, which the sunny weather was really kind to. It ran out just as we got to the ridge of the mountain we were climbing so I switched to FP4+, which works well for high detail in good light.

The mountain views are from the Black Cuillin, and the watery shots from the Fairy Pools. The last roll I had was HP5.

Some of these are from the Glen Brittle campsite, which is between a sandy beach and a field of machair with beautiful wildflowers. Colour would have been useful here. The rest are from Rubh an Dunain, a peninsula with some interesting archaeology along the coast from the campsite, or Dun Scathaig, the ruined castle of the warrior woman Scatha, who taught Cu Chulain how to fight.
