Up a strange mountain on a strange day.
The strange cairn/broch-like construction at the top of Mam Soidheal threw me. It’s circular, single-walled, dry-stone construction, and the inner chamber is rectangular with no roof. Turns out it was built around the trig point in the 19th century, presumably at the same time as the ruined Colby camp bothy further down the slope. The weather must have been very harsh when they were sighting from this peak.
My lenses got a bit dusty on the way. I think this was on Kentmere 100 (400?) and HP5, and developed in D-76.
