Zenit, April 25

I got this Zenit camera at an antique stall in a market in Leeds. 1980 Moscow Olympics edition.

Wee jaunt up Ben Lawers at the very end of winter. Weather was a bit grey and hazy, with strong winds on the tops.

Nice trip to Leeds. Fully recommend the Holdfast Bookshop – it’s the narrowboat moored over the footbridge from the Royal Armouries Museum.

These are mostly from the Bin Wood in Strathbogie, a big, pleasant semi-natural wood wrapped over three or four hills north-west of Huntly.

From Glen Feshie over the plateau to Corrour, then out by the Lairig Ghru.

And that’s pretty much it, that was a year of me learning how to use a camera.
