Experiments in the near infrared.
These were mostly taken around Huntly in Aberdeenshire. The standing stone is the Craw Stane outside Rhynie. One of them’s from Glen Affric.
To get the best out of IR film you have to use a very heavy red filter, which means low shutter speeds. You also can’t visually focus the IR light (because you can’t see it), so you need to manually compensate for it.
Which is to say, excuse some motion blur and missed focus on these pictures.
